Y'all- I have been BUSY! This past weekend was insane. We had a baby shower, a first birthday party and somehow I managed to paint our powder room, the vanity AND try my hand at custom hand painted accent wall! Phew. I'm tired.

Y'all... I am on a rolllllll lately with DIY projects turning out better than expected! I will not lie that I have had my doubts about every single design aspect of this $100 Room Challenge. I saved the hardest for last... re-upholstering my headboard. I was sure I would mess it up or it wouldn't go as planned but it was easier than I expected! Best part? I made it using a DROP CLOTH as the fabric!

This week I am sharing how I gave our Ikea Hemnes Nighstands a facelift! I'm not going to lie... I was absolutely terrified to start this project- I was honestly prepared for the worst (having to photoshop my reveal photos and buy all new nightstands) because I was sure this project wouldn't go as planned. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised!
